Jeetendra

Jeetendra(Ravi Kapoor) was born on April 7, 1942 in Amritsar, Punjab. His first film was Navrang. Jeetendra got his first big break when Shantaram cast him as hero in Geet Gaya Pattharon Ne (1964).

Mohammed Rafi

Dr. Zakir Hussain

Dr. Zakir Hussain born on February 8, 1897 in Hussain was born in Hyderabad. He was the third President of India from May 13, 1967 until his death on May 3, 1969.

He was awarded the highest Indian national honour, the Bharat Ratna, in 1963.

He was educated at Islamia High School, Etawah and in Aligarh Muslim University.

Hussain, then only 23, with some of teachers and students founded a National Muslim University near Delhi and named it Jamia Millia Islamia.

He served as the Governor of Bihar from 1957 to 1962 and as the Vice President of India from 1962 to 1967.

Hussain was elected President of India on May 13, 1967.

Hussain died on 3rd May 1969.

Ravishankar Jayadritha Shastri born on 27 May 1962 in Bombay. He is a former Indian cricketer.His international career started when he was just 18 years old.

He was elected the Champion of Champions in the World Championship of Cricket in Australia in 1985. In the same season, he equalled West Indian Garry Sobers's record of hitting six sixes in an over in first class cricket.

In domestic cricket, he played for Bombay and led them to the Ranji Trophy title in his final year of playing.

Within 18 months of his Test debut, he had moved up from 10th position in the batting order to being an opening batsman.

Sunil Gavaskar

Sunil Manohar Gavaskar("Sunny") born on 10 July 1949 in Bombay, Maharashtra. He is a former cricketer who played during the 1970s and 1980s for Bombay and India. Sunil Gavaskar held the record of 34 Test centuries for almost two decades before it was broken by Sachin Tendulkar in December 2005.

After missing the First Test due to an infected fingernail, Gavaskar scored 65 and 67 not out in the second Test in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, hitting the winning runs which gave India its first ever win over the West Indies. He followed this with his first century, 116 and 64* in the Third Test in Georgetown, Guyana, and 1 and 117* in the Fourth Test in Bridgetown, Barbados.

Kapil Dev

Kapil Dev Ramlal Nikhanj born on 6 January 1959 in Chandigarh. He is better known as Kapil Dev. He is a former Indian cricketer regarded as one of the greatest all-rounders of all time.

He was captain when India won the world cup in 1983. Kapil Dev was named by Wisden as the Indian Cricketer of the Century in 2002.He retired as highest wicket taker in both forms of the game and to date is the only person to take 400 wickets and score more than 5,000 runs in test cricket.

He was a Coach for Indian Cricket Team for 10 months. Kapil Dev was appointed coach of the Indian national cricket team in 1999.

Kapil Dev married Romi in 1980 and the couple have a daughter Amiya Dev who was born in 1996.

Pilavullakandi Thekkeparambil Usha born on June 27, 1964 in the village of Payyoli, Kozhikode District, Kerala. She popularly known as P. T. Usha is an Indian athlete from the state of Kerala. Regarded as queen of Indian track and field, P. T. Usha has been associated with Indian athletics since 1979.

In 1979 she participated in the National School Games, where she was noticed by O. M. Nambiar, who coached her throughout her career. Mahatma Gandhi

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was the pre-eminent political and spiritual leader of India during the Indian independence movement. People call him Bapu or Mahatma Gandhi. His Date of Birth is 2 October 1869. was born in Porbandar. He is officially honoured in India as the Father of the Nation; his birthday, 2 October, is commemorated there as Gandhi Jayanti, a national holiday, and worldwide as the International Day of Non-Violence. His father, Karamchand Gandhi was the diwan (Prime Minister) of the eponymous Porbander state.

Mohandas was married to 14-year old Kasturbai Makhanji in May 1983.Gandhi's first child was born When Gandhi was 15, but survived only a few days. Mohandas and Kasturba had four children: Harilal, born in 1888; Manilal, born in 1892; Ramdas, born in 1897; and Devdas, born in 1900.

Shashi Kapoor

Shashi Kapoor born as 'Balbir Raj Kapoor' on March 18, 1938 in Calcutta.

He is a legendary Indian film actor and producer and a member of the famous 'Kapoor family'.

He is a Younger brother of Raj Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor and son of Prithviraj Kapoor.

In July, 1958, He married the British actress Jennifer Kendal an Actress.

He has two son named Kunal Kapoor, Karan Kapoor and one daughter Sanjana Kapoor.
